Upon pressing the button you will hear the voice announcement of the time of the day and the ambient temperature. This is a convenient talking feature for the visually impaired. The clock also included a 200 year calendar featuring from January 1901 to December 2099. You can find out the day of the week of the past and also the future of a certain date. The clock can be set to either Fahrenheit or Celsius setting and it can display temperature from -9 to 59 degrees on Celsius or from 16 to 138 degrees on Fahrenheit. There are two snooze settings. In the off position the alarm sounds for 1 minute and in the on position the alarm repeats two more times after the first one with a 4-minute lapse time. Set with your slide button. There are no electrical cords to worry about as the clock is battery operated and functions on two AA batteries (not included). The clock can be used either with the stand provided or without the stand. It measures about 6 inches wide and 5.25 inches tall with its stand and 3.25 inches without the stand.
