A mid century modern Italian ceramic wall clock, iconic design by Howard Miller Meridian collection. Designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi and Georg Nelson and manufactured by Howard Miller. Beautiful vivid orange, yellow and brown. The old wired clock movement was replaced with a battery powered movement that runs on a C battery. Signed on the back 1974 ITALY. Has the original clear Made In Italy sticker on the front. It is in excellent condition. No cracks, chips, wear, discoloration and no repairs. A great example. 14 1/4” in diameter. Depth is 2”. Italian hand painted wall clock of a hot air balloon by Fratelli Mari in Deruta, Italy. The design, style and look of the clock screams Deruta! A lovely wall clock to hang in any room of your choice. I showcased the wall clock in my laundry room and loved it. There is a blue smudge above the 12 and it has always been there. The same clock online doesn’t show one. The price will reflect the imperfection but not real sure that I didn’t buy it this way. Clock was made specifically for Williams Sonoma.
